Mango’s is
a new and exciting casual dining concept
restaurant evolving out of the North Georgia market. You will enjoy a
new dinning experience
surounded by beautiful tropical colors,
decore, artwork, and plants.
Listen to the sounds of Cuba and popular tropical themed
music as you savor our diverse menu of exotic
seafood, traditional Cuban food, and Nuevo Latino dishes. First opened
in 2007 as Casa Anguelo
Cuban Restaurant, big changes were made to cater to the local market
and prepare the concept restaurant for roll-out to new locations and
future franchise opportunities.
Mango’s
executive management team
bring decades of food industry experience and creativity to the concept
restaurant.
Belinda R.
Anguelo
General Manager
Belinda
began her career in the food industry with Restaurant Services, Inc., a
franchisee
purchasing arm for the Burger King Corporation, as an associate
buyer. In the decade prior to co-founding Casa Anguelo, Belinda held
a number of rolls with Darden Restaurants (parent company of Red
Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Smokey Bones, Seasons
52, Long Horn Steak House, and Capital Grill) based out of
Orlando, Florida in purchasing,
diversity, product distribution, and menu development.
Andrew
Anguelo
Executive Chef
While enjoying the
culinary diversity
of dishes at Mango’s, one would not know that chef Anguelo is
self taught. He evolved professional culinary skills through books,
trial and error, and a passion for food. Combined with decades
of experience in computer engineering management, these traits
prepared chef Anguelo to successfully head the
culinary side of the
restaurant concept. For two years in a row he won culinary awards for Best
International dish, and Most Unique International dish in 2008 at the Taste of The Southern High Lands food expo in North
GA. His vision is capturing the essence of traditional Cuban
dishes with modern cooking techniques and ingredients for his take on
Nuevo Latino cuisine.
